How to Use Web3 Token gate (Free Version)

Step by Step Setup Instructions

  1. Download and install the Web3 Token Gate plugin. Download Plugin Here
  2. In the Web3 Token Gate settings, set the NFT address you would like to verify as well as the outputs for both a successful verification and a failed verification.
  3. Place both the verification shortcode and the output shortcode on a WordPress page or post and save.
  4. View the page/post with the shortcodes and test your connection using a MetaMask wallet.

How to Setup Multiple Connections (Pro Version)

Step by Step Setup Instructions

  1. Download and install the Web3 Token Gate Pro plugin. Purchase Plugin Here
  2. In the Web3 Token Gate connection settings, click the add new button, to add a new connection.
  3. Name your new connection.
  4. Set your verification outputs for both the successful and failed verification using the WordPress block editor.
  5. Using the connections tab on the side column, set your desired contract address of the NFT you would like to verify.
  6. Next, set the NFT blockchain of the contract you setup in the previous step using the dropdown menu provided.
  7. Publish the connection.
  8. Add the shortcodes of your new connection to the desired WordPress page or post and save.
  9. Test your new connection.

How to Setup Multiple Wallets (Pro Version)

Multiple wallets is a default feature of the Web3 Token Gate Pro plugin. Simply purchase and install the pro version of Web3 Token Gate and follow the instructions of setting up a connection. Multiple wallets will automatically be enabled for your users to verify with.

How to Use a Different Blockchain? (Pro Version)

The Multiple Blockchain feature comes as a default feature of the Web3 Token Gate Pro plugin. Simply purchase and install the pro version of Web3 Token Gate and follow the instructions of setting up a connection. Multiple Blockchains will automatically be enabled, just set the desired blockchain from the dropdown menu.

How to Restrict Entire Pages & Posts? (Pro Version)

The outputs feature allows you to restrict entire WordPress pages and posts using the Web3 Token Gate Pro plugin. Simply purchase and install the pro version of Web3 Token Gate and follow the instructions of setting up a connection.

Next open the page or post you would like to restrict in the WordPress editor. In the side bar under Web3 Token Gate settings, select “Current Page Content” for Success Output type. Now save your page or post.
